The short version
- This page never asks for your name, email, phone number, income, or Social Security number.
- Two advertising tools (Meta and Google) and our own visit log do record how you got here and what you clicked.
- The mortgage application itself happens on The Mortgage Link's site, where that company's privacy notice applies.
What this page does not collect
The 4 question quiz, the chat assistant, and the buttons on this page do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, Social Security number, income, account balances, or credit history. You can finish the whole page without ever handing over anything that identifies you. Quiz answers are stored as anonymous answers so Aaron can see how many people are asking the same question.
What is collected automatically
Privacy laws care about more than your name. These tools run on this page and do record information about the visit, which is why this notice is here.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
A tracking pixel on this page tells Meta which pages you visited, what device and browser you used, your approximate location, and whether you clicked a button. Aaron uses that to see which ads are worth paying for and to show his ads to people who already showed interest.
Google Analytics
Records the pages you viewed, how far you scrolled, which buttons you used, your device type, and your general area. It is used to measure how the page performs, not to identify you personally.
Our own visit log
This site keeps its own short record of each visit: which ad or link sent you here, your device type, which buttons you used, and how far down the page you read. It is stored under a random session label, not your name. We keep it only as long as it takes to understand how the page is doing, and we will delete a visit's records if you ask.
The chat assistant
Anything you type into the chat is sent to an AI assistant service so it can answer your question, and Aaron can read the conversation to follow up. Please do not type account numbers, loan numbers, your Social Security number, or income figures into the chat.
Who information goes to
Meta, Google, the assistant service that powers the chat, and The Mortgage Link if you choose to apply or call. We do not sell your information and we do not hand it to marketing lists.
Your choices
- Turn off personalized ads from Meta in the Meta ad preferences page, and from Google in Google's ads settings.
- Clear or block site cookies in your browser. The page still works, and you can still call or text Aaron directly.
- Ask us to show you, correct, or delete the records we hold about your visit. Use the phone number below and we will handle it.
- If you would rather not be tracked at all, call Aaron instead of clicking through an ad.
Once you apply, the lender's notice takes over
When you press Apply Now you leave this page and go to The Mortgage Link's secure application site. That is where your name, income, credit history, and loan details are collected, and it is covered by The Mortgage Link's own privacy notice, which also explains their obligations under federal lending privacy rules.
